Company
Nico Archambault- Founding Director
is originally from San Jose CA and moved to NYC in 2021. She received her BA in Dance Performance Studies from SFSU in 2019 where she made Dean’s list and received her MA in Teaching Dance from NYU in 2023 with Honors. She is now a NYC based professional dancer, choreographer, and public school dance educator in the Bronx. She’s been teaching dance for 15 years in the public and private dance sector throughout the Bay Area and NYC providing exemplary training of the many techniques and styles she has acquired throughout her dance career. These include many styles of Ballet, Modern, Folkloric, Latin, and Urban dance.
She founded Nico Dance Co. in 2025 as a mixed-level and mixed-style dance company. She wanted to allow many different dancers to be able to showcase the dances they are proficient in and love most while also creating a progressive learning environment for her dancers to gain experience in styles that are interesting, challenging, and new to them. The company showcases full live dance performances, dance videos, live on the street performances, and private performances. Nico does not stray away from using her professional performances and platforms to raise awareness on social issues and to promote social political activism. Many company performances and projects are based in political comedy and aim to use art as a tool to better inform and aid communities throughout NYC.
She is very proud of her company choreographers and dancers, and is looking forward to continuously uplifting them and aid them in their dance journey.
